What is Equifest?
Equifest is a three-day event that aims to bring together equine enthusiasts of all ages and riding levels through competitions, entertainment, and educational exhibitions. Its organisers promised that this groundbreaking event would be a cut above all the equine shows that the country has seen thus far.
Where and when will it be held?
Equifest will be held at the National Equestrian Centre in Taupo, from November 27th to the 29th, 2020.
The NEC is a sprawling 90-acre world class facility that boasts an indoor complex, grass and sand arenas, as well as numerous facilities that any equestrian will love. It is considered as the best equestrian hub in the North Island.

How Do You Get There?
You can find the National Equestrian Centre at 114 Rapids Road, Rotokawa, Taupo. Public parking is free, and disabled parking spaces are likewise available.
Accommodations
The best part about Equifest?
You can camp at the venue itself! NEC provides a limited number of public campsites within its grounds for three nights. Slots cost $80 per site and are very limited, so make sure to book ahead.These campsites are non-powered, but they do have toilets, showers, and a communal kitchen.
Not too fond of camping? Not a problem. Taupo has a wide selection of resorts, inns, and accommodations, as well as breathtaking nature. You’ll never run out of choices.
